Max began his construction and design career in Toronto, where he founded his first interior design company in 2013. By 2019, he had grown M² Design & Build into a multidisciplinary team of more than 30 professionals and completed over 500 projects. The work ranged from the design and renovation of luxury residences to commercial tenant improvements and complete interior build-outs.
After selling M² Design & Build, Max expanded into land and multifamily investment, development, and larger design-build projects, including a 22-townhome development in Newmarket, Ontario. His subsequent experience has included multifamily development, retail construction, commercial tenant improvements, property repositioning, permitting, consultant coordination, trade procurement, construction budgeting, and project delivery across Ontario and British Columbia.
This construction and development background gives Max a practical understanding of how commercial properties are identified, evaluated, financed, designed, permitted, built, leased, operated, improved, and ultimately valued. He can assess a property beyond its asking price or rental rate by considering zoning, existing building systems, construction costs, permitting requirements, project schedules, operational needs, and long-term asset performance.
His experience spans retail, office, industrial, income-producing properties, educational facilities, and commercial assets requiring repositioning, leasing strategy, operational review, or financial improvement. He has worked with and supported respected organizations, brands, and projects involving Costco, Victoria’s Secret, BMW, Alexander College, and Brighton College.
Max is a CCIM Candidate pursuing the prestigious CCIM designation, strengthening his expertise in commercial investment analysis, market analysis, financial modelling, and strategic advisory.
